This is a career move, not a gap year
Since January 2024, childcare workers are exempt from the standard 6-month employer limit on the Working Holiday Visa. You can work at the same preschool for 12+ months, renew for a second year, and your preschool can then sponsor you for a Skills in Demand visa. UK teachers who make the move typically stay.
What does it cost you?
TeachPath's service is completely free to teachers. You'll need to cover your own visa application (around AUD $510) and initial flights -though many preschools offer flight reimbursement on arrival.
